Hybrid helps make G'day USA a G'night for TFI

Hybrid client, Thomas Foods International, once again played a starring role at this year's G'day USA Black Tie Gala Dinner, in Los Angeles.

Hybrid was delighted to help TFI leverage their support of this high profile international event and promote the Thomas Foods brand to North America.

Celebrity Chef, Curtis Stone, prepared the menu for the 1000 star-studded dinner guests. With Thomas Farms' Australian lamb as the main feature, Hybrid produced a film of Curtis and Thomas Farms CEO, Darren Thomas, preparing the main dish, which was played to the guests on the night.

To generate engagement between the Thomas Foods and the event participants, Hybrid also created the 'TFI Boomerang Challenge'. Hybrid developed a mobile phone app/game that allowed the guests to throw a virtual boomerang around the dinner tables – the more times they caught the boomerang on their phone, the more chances they had to win instant prizes.

Fasta Pasta launches lunches

Hybrid has been busy creating three new campaigns for its long-term client Fasta Pasta.

On the back of the success of its special dishes, the national restaurant chain has just launched a value lunch menu.

Once again, all the marketing support was created by Hybrid, including a TVC and digital campaign.

A new range of special salads in also on the menu for summer at Fasta Pasta.

At the same time, Hybrid has helped the restaurant return to its roots with a promotion for its customers’ all-time favourite pasta dishes. Not too surprisingly, the old spag-bol proved to be the hottest meal on the menu.

Big night for Hybrid at AADC!

This year's AADC Awards saw Hybrid pick up four Best of Category Awards as well as a bunch of finalist acknowledgements. Hybrid's 'Re-Write Your Story' campaign for Nunkuwarrin Yunti won Best Film Direction, Best Casting, Best Photography and Best Photographic Series.

A DEADLY Win!

On the back of success at the AADC Awards, Hybrid's 'Re-Write Your Story' campaign for Nunkuwarrin Yunti has gone on to win a DEADLY Award.
Held at the Sydney Opera House, the DEADLYS recognise outstanding achievements amongst Australia's Indigenous cultures in the areas of music, sport, entertainment and community.

Credit Union SA comes in to the fold

Hybrid's work with new client, Credit Union SA, is well underway.Picking up on the 'origami' theme from the Credit Union’s brand identity, a number of new campaigns have begun across print, poster and digital platforms.

Nova Systems are all go

As Australia's largest independent provider of engineering and management services to the government and defence industry, Nova Systems is proving to be one of the agency’s most active business-to-business clients.

Along with meeting a heavy press advertising schedule, Hybrid is also in the midst of an extensive brand audit for Nova. This has involved us engaging key Nova Systems stakeholders right across Australia and around the world.

New Client – The VUE

Hybrid recently won the task of naming and generating registrations of interest for what will be Adelaidess tallest residential building upon completion. Called, 'The VUE' On King William, the architectural design incorporates a subtle twist in the all-glass façade as the building towers upwards.
The VUE is Hybrid's second project for Melbourne-based Asia Pacific Group, and comes after the agency helped to sell out the apartments at 'The Watson' in Walkerville.

Australia's Largest Online Jewellery Store

With over 20,000 different items of jewellery, Hybrid has just launched the new SHIELS website – the largest online store of its kind in Australia. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services and is built on the Magento Platform – offering unprecedented flexibility and control over the look, content and functionality of the SHIELS eCommerce store.

New Project – TIO

Hybrid has a well-established media buying relationship with TIO (Territory Insurance Office) in Darwin. However, we now have our first creative/digital project with this client – a web landing page and banner advertising campaign for TIO's Car Insurance Division.

New Project – UDC

Hybrid produces around sixteen catalogues a year for its client, United Discount Chemists (UDC). 2014 saw the agency's retail team create a whole new look and feel for UDC.

Both customers and the pharmacies alike have overwhelmingly appreciated the catalogue refresh – which has been seen as an improvement for the brand as a whole - giving UDC a more professional pharmaceutical positioning.
